Le Puzzle Coréen explore un phénomène contemporain peu documenté : l’engouement des femmes occidentales de plus de 45 ans pour la culture sud-coréenne.
This blog is dedicated to the women participating in this research project on the appeal of South Korea among women—mostly French-speaking—over the age of 45. Often overlooked, their enthusiasm is poorly documented in the numerous studies that examine the Hallyu (Korean wave) phenomenon.
It also aims to contrast this enthusiasm with the desire of a younger generation of Korean women to live abroad.
How can the same country generate such contrasting feelings of attraction and rejection?
These are the questions that underpin this collaborative project.
