Néé en 1970 à Paris, j’ai grandi en Bretagne dans le village maternel. Après des études de gestion à Paris et à Rennes, j’ai passé vingt en entreprise en France et aux Etats-Unis avant de reprendre des études de photographie à l’International Center of Photography en 2012, suivies par un Master of Fine Arts Image & Text à Ithaca de 2019 à 2022.
À travers une approche mêlant photographie, collages, textes et vidéos ma pratique artistique interroge les notions de mémoire, de filiation et d’appartenance, et examine la façon dont les lieux, le langage et les transmissions intergénérationnelles et culturelles façonnent l’identité.
Je m’intéresse aux zones marginales, aux espaces en mutation, à toutes ces existences situées à la périphérie, qu’elles soient géographiques comme les territoires insulaires ou sociales.
S’appuyant sur un temps de recherche long et multi sources, je compose des récits visuels où s’entremêlent histoires individuelles et mémoire collective.
Born in 1970 in Paris, I grew up in Brittany in my mother’s village. After studying economics in Paris and Rennes, I spent twenty years in business in France and the United States before going back to school to study photography at the International Center of Photography in 2012, followed by a Master of Fine Arts in Image & Text at Ithaca from 2019 to 2022.
Through an approach combining photography, collages, text, and video, my practice explores the concepts of memory, lineage, and belonging, and examines how places, language, intergenerational and cultural transmission shape identity.
I am interested in marginal zones, spaces in flux, all those lives situated on the periphery – whether geographical, such as insular territories, or social.Drawing on extensive, multi-source research, I create visual narratives that intertwine individual stories with collective memory.
