Néé en 1970 à Paris, j’ai grandi en Bretagne dans le village maternel. Après des études de gestion à Paris et à Rennes, j’ai passé vingt en entreprise en France et aux Etats-Unis avant de reprendre des études de photographie à l’International Center of Photography en 2012, suivies par un Master of Fine Arts Image & Text en formation continue à Ithaca de 2019 à 2022.
Depuis plus de dix ans, je développe une pratique artistique pluridisciplinaire où la photographie dialogue avec d’autres médiums – texte, installation, vidéo..
Mon travail interroge les notions de territoire et d’appartenance, questionnant la manière dont les lieux, le language et les transmissions intergénérationnelles et culturelles façonnent notre identité. Je m’intéresse aux zones marginales, aux espaces en mutation, à toutes ces existences situées à la périphérie, quelle que soit la nature de ce qui les y a placées.
Born in Paris, I grew up in Brittany, in a small village south of Rennes. After studying Economics & Business Administration, I spent the next twenty years working for corporations in France and in the US, before going back to school to study photography, first at the International Center of Photography in 2012, followed by a MFA – Image-Text – at Ithaca in 2019-2022.
My artistic practice centers around an exploration of interstices – those liminal spaces where transitions between visible and invisible, presence and absence, memory and oblivion intersect. Through an approach that combines photography, collage, texts, and video, I investigate the traces left by time and trauma upon the body and the landscape.
My work interrogates notions of territory and belonging, questioning how places and language shape our identity. I am interested in marginal zones, spaces in flux; all those existences situated at the periphery, regardless of what has placed them there.
