Néé en 1970 à Paris, j’ai grandi en Bretagne dans le village maternel. Après des études de gestion à Paris et à Rennes, j’ai passé vingt en entreprise en France et aux Etats-Unis avant de reprendre des études de photographie à l’International Center of Photography en 2012, suivies par un Master of Fine Arts Image & Text en formation continue à Ithaca de 2019 à 2022.
À travers une approche mêlant photographie, collages, textes et vidéos ma pratique artistique interroge les notions de mémoire, de filiation et d’appartenance. Elle examine la façon dont les lieux, le langage et les transmissions intergénérationnelles et culturelles façonnent l’identité.
Je m’intéresse aux zones marginales, aux espaces en mutation, à toutes ces existences situées à la périphérie, qu’elles soient géographiques comme les territoires insulaires ou sociales.
Cette tension entre approche analytique et dimension sensible constitue le moteur de ma recherche artistique, dans une tentative de rendre visible des existences et des paysages souvent occultés.
Born in Paris, I grew up in Brittany, in a small village south of Rennes. After studying Economics & Business Administration, I spent the next twenty years working for corporations in France and in the US, before going back to school to study photography, first at the International Center of Photography in 2012, followed by a MFA – Image-Text – at Ithaca in 2019-2022.
Through an approach combining photography, collages, text, and video, my artistic practice explores the concepts of memory, lineage, and belonging. It examines how places, language, and intergenerational and cultural transmission shape identity.
I am interested in marginal zones, spaces in flux, all those lives situated on the periphery – whether geographical, such as insular territories, or social.
The tension between analytical approach and sensory dimension drives my artistic research, as I seek to bring to light lives and landscapes that are often overlooked.
